Occupation: Youtuber. Specifically Virginia runs a moderately successful YouTube channel where she explores the histories of supposedly haunted buildings in America. She even explores them after! Recently she has expanded her explorations to limited locations outside of the US.

History:

Virginia is the eldest of three siblings. Her parents had a good marriage and a fairly healthy attitude towards how to raise their kids. When Virginia started to have issues with generalized anxiety they explored ways to help her deal with her feelings. Between getting permission to go run up and down the stairs at her high school when she just needed to outrun her feelings and exploring expressing herself through art Gina came up with the wild idea to go explore the closed down hospital just outside of town. She had heard of urban adventures and the idea appealed to her. Being a teenager it also didn't occur to Gina it might be dangerous thankfully that time it wasn't.

After filming herself screeching her head off when she accidentally found the room with all of the old CPR dummies Gina found herself hooked on this new hobby. She was able to do a few other adventures and caught it on film. Slowly over time she expanded it into talking about the history of the building or location she was going to explore. Her parents didn't quite understand her new hobby but supported her with practical advice.

Always keep a spare phone. Pack extra batteries. That kind of advice.

It became almost like a job at first. Not a full time one because she wanted to actually get an education but that also ended up being part of her ventures when it came to YouTube after she discovered she loves it so much. She found it interesting that a hobby she started to help her face her own fears turned into a love of learning and uncovering secrets about people and places.

Currently, she is finishing up a doctorate at Duke University in Parapsychology. She still has plans to continue her adventures in studying haunted buildings all over. In some cases she has found solid data which has her thrilled. After close to eleven years of doing this Gina has slowly convinced not every case is true. Gina has also learned over time that there is some truth to the ghost stories out there. Real encounters are rare but she has gathered enough proof that she has been able to share with her subscribers. The dangerous stuff gets carefully scrubbed because Gina doesn't think it's safe for general consumption. There are others far more impulsive than her and more likely to get into danger.

It's the other stuff she can't share that is interesting and fascinating to her. Gina feels like she is at the edge of a huge break through. It could make or break her career.
